Cambi Awarded Contract for Jurong Water Reclamation Plant

PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, will implement a CambiTHP™ system at the Jurong Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) following a competitive bidding process for an expansion of its sludge treatment facility. Cambi is selected by the main contractor Yamato Technologies to provide the thermal hydrolysis system to process waste activated sludge (WAS) from the Jurong WRP treating industrial and municipal wastewater.

Cambi Awarded Contract for Anyang Sewage Treatment Plant

Posco E&C, one of South Korea´s largest EPC Turnkey contractors, has awarded Cambi a contract for a Cambi B12 Thermal Hydrolysis Process plant (CambiTHP™) for the Anyang Sewage Treatment and co-digestion Project. The CambiTHP™ system will treat all the sludge from a new underground wastewater treatment plant serving 700,000 people in the municipality of Anyang, one of 15 satellite cities surrounding Seoul, the capital of South Korea.

United Utilities, one of UK’s three largest water companies, has awarded two contracts for Cambi’s B2-THP system at Leigh and Burnley Sewage Works via framework contractor, KMI.
The Cambi B2-THP system is a complete thermal hydrolysis system in one pre-fabricated container sized unit that can be installed as a plug and play module.

From 1st March 2015, Atila Mellilo is the new CEO of Cambi. Current CEO, Per Lillebø, will assume the role of Chairman of Board of Directors.

The Cambi Board of Directors has named Atila Mellilo as the new CEO of the company effective immediately. Mellilo has the last two years held the position of COO at Cambi and has achieved wide insight and solid knowledge of Cambi as the world leader in its field. Aktor Awards Contract to Cambi

n the second quarter of 2014 Aktor awarded Cambi a contract for the installation of one line of Cambi’s modular Thermal Hydrolysis (CambiTHP™) B6 system at Psyttalia Island Wastewater Treatment Works, Athens, Greece. The system is capable of treating about 50 dry tonnes of biological sludge per day, almost one half of the total biological sludge produced.

Aecom Awards Contract to Cambi

The Long Reach project is a first of its kind in the UK. Thames water have selected AECOM as main contractor with Cambi as its specialist sub-contractor to build an upgrade to its sludge digestion plant in at Long Reach STW, in NW Kent. The plant has sewage treatment design capacity for 840,000 people equivalent and digests its sludge for use in agriculture as a fertiliser.
