Xiaohongmen Water Reclamation Plant
On the 10th of December 2014, Cambi was awarded the Xiao Hong Men contract, the second contract with client Beijing Drainage Construction Company. The project was finished in February 2017, making Xiao Hong Men the first operating Cambi plant in China. The plant serves a population of two million people.
Cambi provided a B12 unit as part of an upgrade for the Xiao Hong Men Wastewater Reclamation Plant's five digesters. By integrating Cambi's thermal hydrolysis process in the sludge line, the client can now treat up to 65,700 tDS/yr. Additional benefits include high-quality cake that can be used for land application and surplus biogas used as electricity for the digestion process
