Hong Kong - Shek Wu Hui

Shek Wu Hui Sewage Treatment Works was built with secondary treatment in 1984 and expanded in 2001, serving 300 000 people in the Sheung Shui and Fanling districts. As the area's population increases rapidly, the plant will be expanded (from 93 to 190 MLD) and upgraded to have tertiary treatment and thermal hydrolysis.

The contract was awarded to Cambi by Jardine Engineering Corporation, the winning contractor selected by the Hong Kong Drainage Services Department (HK DSD). Cambi's scope consists of 2 trains of B6-4 with pre-coolers, boilers, and digester coolers, scheduled for delivery by summer 2022.
