Business Development Manager and Key Account Service Manager

Cambi currently has two positions available in our Services department at the headquarters in Asker:

  • Business Development Manager
  • Key Account Services Manager

The Services department identifies, develops, and delivers solutions to clients to improve their plants' environmental, operational, and commercial performance. Both positions will involve close collaboration across the organisation, with Sales, Legal, Project Execution and especially the Technical department.

As part of the Services department, you will work in the borderlines between technical and commercial topics and be involved in business processes from early-phase business development via contract negotiations through execution to delivery and closure.

Business Development Manager

As Business Development Manager, you will work along the entire sales journey, from lead identification to contract signature. Your main responsibility will be to offer sales and management of Cambi’s portfolio of services and solutions, primarily towards existing clients. By harvesting from significant previous experience, you will be expected to be the main driver of your own work processes, be self-going, take decisions within defined limits and ensure completeness.

Tasks will be such as:

  • Continuously build your sales pipeline. Take initiative to increase the client base and sales of prioritised services. Identify, develop and offer technology upgrades to clients with existing operational plants.
  • Process modelling and calculation of technical benefits of technology upgrades (in collaboration with the Technical department) as the basis for assessing clients' business cases (return on investment)
  • Drive initiatives to create value for clients: develop commercial proposals, pricing and commercial conditions. Define and negotiate contracts.
  • Contribute to developing the Services offerings, methodology, tools and business processes
  • Ensure documentation, traceability and compliance.

Key Account Service Manager

The Key Account Service Manager position can be shaped and developed according to Cambi’s needs and your development and preferences. You will be a key team player to offer sales and management of Cambi’s portfolio of services and solutions, primarily towards existing clients.

Tasks will be such as: 

  • Key account management and point of contact for several clients: Handle all topics and client support, services sales, ensure client satisfaction.
  • Drive initiatives to create value for clients: Increase the client base and sales of prioritised services. Identify, develop and offer technology upgrades to clients with existing operational plants.
  • Handle sales of spare parts to your accounts: proactive sales, handle requests, submit quotations, get the purchase order, follow-up to ensure delivery and invoicing.
  • Contribute to developing the Services offerings, methodology, tools and business processes.
  • Assist the Technical Maintenance and Support team when required.
  • Ensure documentation, traceability, and compliance.

Requirements

For both positions, it is required that you have:

  • A strong commercial mindset
  • Well documented client communication skills
  • Skills within thermodynamics, process design and mechanical design
  • Beneficial with knowledge within anaerobic digestion
  • Educational degree within process/ science/ technology/ engineering and/or mathematics
  • Excellent calculation skills
  • Knowledge/ interest in technical systems
  • A high personal standard for the quality of work
  • Passionate and can-do attitude
  • Fluency to work in English

Location:

  • Preferably at the headquarters in Asker, but it is possible to consider other locations.
  • International and national travelling will be required to some extent
