transparency, and accountability across our global operations and supply chain.

Common-File-Check--Streamline-Ultimate 1 Business ethics and compliance

Cambi conducts business with integrity, fairness, and accountability, ensuring ethical principles guide decision-making at all levels. Our Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for employees, suppliers, and partners, covering anti-corruption, responsible business practices, and compliance with laws and regulations.

We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for bribery and corruption, complying with laws such as the Norwegian Penal Code and the UK Bribery Act. Employees receive regular training on ethical business conduct, and due diligence processes ensure that fraud risks and conflicts of interest are managed effectively.

Cambi integrates governance best practices, sustainability policies, and regulatory compliance into operations. Ethical leadership is a shared responsibility, reinforcing a culture of integrity.

Our Code of Conduct document is currently available in English and Spanish and will be translated into several other languages.

Christmas-Star--Streamline-Ultimate 1 Quality and continuous improvement

Cambi is committed to delivering high-quality, high-performance solutions that meet industry standards and sustainability goals. Our approach focuses on continuous improvement, quality control, and operational efficiency.

A key part of our quality management system is the Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) process, which ensures issues are identified, addressed, and prevented. By systematically tracking and analysing NCRs, we enhance process efficiency and product reliability.

Cambi also prioritises customer satisfaction and long-term operational excellence by monitoring system performance and offering expert support. Our certifications and quality assurance frameworks ensure that Cambi remains a trusted partner in wastewater treatment and sustainability.

Managing ESG risks
and opportunities

Cambi integrates environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities into its corporate strategy to enhance resilience, ensure compliance, and drive sustainability-focused innovation. ESG risks are integrated into Cambi's corporate governance framework, with oversight at executive and board levels.

Risk areas Opportunities

Key risk areas include:

  • Climate and environmental risks: Changes in environmental regulations, climate-related financial risks, and the impact of decarbonisation policies on waste and wastewater treatment.
  • Social and human rights risks: Supply chain risks related to fair labour conditions, human rights violations, and ethical business practices.
  • Regulatory and compliance risks: Adapting to evolving ESG disclosure requirements such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and industry-specific environmental laws.

By proactively managing ESG risks and leveraging sustainability-driven opportunities, Cambi remains resilient, competitive, and aligned with global climate and circular economy goals.

Key ESG-driven opportunities include:

  • Advancing the circular economy: Expanding solutions that support resource recovery and sustainable wastewater solids treatment.
  • Decarbonisation and net-zero strategies: Enhancing energy efficiency, emissions reductions, and renewable energy production within wastewater sludge treatment processes.
  • Sustainable procurement and partnerships: Strengthening responsible sourcing and supplier engagement to ensure ethical, low-impact supply chains.
  • Regulatory-driven growth: Aligning with new sustainability regulations and climate policies that create demand for low-carbon, energy-efficient solutions.

Ensuring ethical impact

At every stage of our sourcing and manufacturing process, we strive to ensure that Cambi and all our partners operate in accordance with the highest sustainability standards.

Sourcing and supply chain Transparency

Responsible sourcing and supply chains

Cambi ensures that procurement practices uphold high ethical, environmental, and social standards. We only work with suppliers that align with our sustainability commitments, regulatory obligations, and corporate values.

Our supplier due diligence process evaluates risks related to human rights, labour conditions, environmental impact, and business integrity. The Code of Conduct sets expectations for fair wages, safe working conditions, responsible sourcing, and ethical business practices.

Joining forces for sustainable operations

Cambi actively reduces the environmental footprint of its supply chain, working with partners to enhance energy efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability in materials sourcing. By integrating ESG criteria into procurement decisions, Cambi extends sustainability beyond its own operations.

Supplier transparency and accountability are continuously strengthened through regular assessments, audits, and collaborations.

Transparency

Cambi is committed to transparency, honesty, fairness, and legal compliance as fundamental pillars of its business. By upholding these ethical principles, we foster a culture of integrity that guides our operations and strengthens trust among employees, business partners, and stakeholders.

Transparency ensures accountability, encourages open communication, and enables informed decision-making at all organisational levels. We believe that a clear understanding of these values is essential to maintaining strong relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and securing long-term sustainability and success.
