Gaobeidian Water Reclamation Plant
The Gaobeidian Water Reclamation Plant is one of China's largest wastewater treatment facilities, with a capacity of 1,000,000 m3/d. Cambi's thermal hydrolysis process (THP) and advanced technologies boosted biogas production without requiring significant space to expand the plant.
The facility is part of Beijing Drainage Group’s (BDG) integrated five-plant sludge treatment network. The programme includes Xiaohongmen, Gaoantun, Huaifang, and Qinghe II, all using a THP-based treatment approach and producing biosolids for land application.
