Burnley
The Burnley Wastewater Treatment Works in Lancashire has been upgraded with a compact Cambi B2 Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) system, supporting United Utilities’ modernisation and sustainability goals.
Specially designed for smaller treatment facilities, the modular, plug-and-play B2 unit was the perfect fit for Burnley’s space-constrained site. The installation has boosted digester efficiency, increased biogas output, and reduced sludge volume.
