As part of the city of Franklin's Integrated Water Resource Plan, the Franklin Water Reclamation Facility in Tennessee will shift to advanced anaerobic digestion using the thermal hydrolysis process. The production of high-quality biosolids will help the facility halt the long-distance transport of their sludge product and instead use them for agricultural applications nearer to the facility.
The Cambi unit is set to be commissioned in 2021.
