Fredrikstad
FREVAR KF in Norway has developed the new Fredrikstad Wastewater Treatment Plant (Fredrikstad Avløpsrenseanlegg or FARA in Norwegian) to accommodate population growth and meet stricter discharge requirements for the Oslofjord.
The facility incorporates Cambi's compact B2 thermal hydrolysis system to increase biogas production and reduce biosolids volumes, supporting its ambition to be climate-neutral.
Officially opened in June 2026, the plant further strengthens Cambi's presence in Norway.
