Lillestrøm - Krogstad Miljøpark
Nedre Romerike Vann- og Avløpsselskap (NRVA) has developed a new sludge treatment and biogas production facility at Krogstad Miljøpark to cater to a growing region.
It uses Cambi's latest and most energy-efficient thermal hydrolysis design, THP-E, which was commissioned in 2025.
By 2030, NRVA expects to generate around 70 GWh of renewable energy annually from biogas, alongside producing high-quality biosolids suitable for land application.
The plant is Cambi's eighth thermal hydrolysis project in Norway.
