Medina - Kenneth W. Hotz
The Kenneth W. Hotz Water Reclamation Facility in Medina, Ohio, improved its solids treatment system utilizing new, advanced technologies to provide energy savings and other sustainable benefits. The plant features a Cambi thermal hydrolysis process system as pretreatment applied before anaerobic digestion.
The unit was delivered to the project site fully assembled, which minimised time and work for installation and start-up at the site. By using Cambi's thermal hydrolysis process, the treated solids meet the highest U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) criteria for land application as Class A fertiliser.
