Medina - Kenneth W. Hotz

The Kenneth W. Hotz Water Reclamation Facility in Medina, Ohio, improved its solids treatment system by utilizing new, advanced technologies to provide energy savings and other sustainable benefits. The plant features a Cambi thermal hydrolysis process system as pretreatment for anaerobic digestion.

We reduced our electric bill by over half by switching to advanced digestion using CambiTHP.
I recommend the Cambi system because, on top of the economic benefits, you have the ease of operation and maintenance.

Trent Crayden - Superintendent

The unit was delivered to the project site fully assembled, which minimized time and work for installation and start-up at the site.

By using Cambi's thermal hydrolysis process, Medina County's treated solids meet the highest U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) criteria for land application as Class A fertiliser.

Our biosolids volume dropped even though we began to take in sludge from our two other plants. The biosolids are considered ‘Class A Exceptional Quality’ here in the US, and are actually in high demand from farmers.
With Cambi, we not only save money but run a cleaner, safer, more efficient plant.
