The Sludge Center Advantage: Optimizing Digestion, Energy Recovery and Biosolids Management

28 October 2025 08:00 PDT | 10:00 CDT | 11:00 EDT | 17:00 CEST Americas

Whether in sewered or non-sewered settings, and across both greenfield and brownfield sites, wastewater utilities are under pressure to find scalable and cost-effective solutions to growing sludge volumes.
Many of these companies and municipalities have pivoted to Sludge Centres. These are centralised hubs designed to optimise sludge treatment, reduce costs, and maximise energy and resource recovery.
Join this Cambi Academy webinar to explore the drivers behind the shift towards centralised sludge treatment, learn how Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) is revolutionising advanced anaerobic digestion at these sites, and see how utilities are already benefiting from this proven approach.

Why Attend?

  • Discover the rise of Sludge Centres and how they support both centralised and decentralised wastewater treatment using Advanced Anaerobic Digestion
  • Gain insight into the transformative impact of thermal hydrolysis on both new and existing infrastructure projects
  • Learn from real-world case studies of utilities improving performance, reducing carbon footprint, and lowering costs
  • Participate in a live Q&A

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is ideal for:

  • Utility operators and staff seeking energy-efficient and future-proof solutions for sludge treatment and plant upgrades
  • Environmental engineers, consultants, and municipal decision-makers engaged in biosolids and sustainability planning
  • Researchers, students, and clean-tech advocates interested in circular economy models, biogas innovation, and resource recovery
