Founder, President & CEO of Cambi ASA and majority shareholder Per Lillebø is a Norwegian citizen. Mr Lillebø holds a master’s degree from the Norwegian Business School (NHH) in Bergen, Norway. Starting his career in Norsk Hydro in 1980, Mr Lillebø resigned three years later and together with partners established a profitable business within oil trading, distribution and marketing. In the following years, Mr Lillebø successfully managed and developed several companies within the oil industry.
In 1992, Mr. Lillebø and partners acquired Cambi, which at the time was a small research and development company focused on utilising steam explosion technology. This ultimately became the core competence and technology platform from which Cambi developed its world-leading technologies within treatment of wastewater sludge.
Mr Lillebø has been instrumental in developing Cambi into a top tier company within the international wastewater industry and has over the years developed a broad international network.
Eirik Fadnes is a Norwegian citizen and the Chief Executive Officer of Cambi. He has vast experience from executive positions in Singapore, Norway and Argentina. He has worked for KOP Surface Products, Aker ASA and EY.
Mr. Fadnes holds a Master of Science (MSc) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and an MSc from BI Norwegian Business School.
Andreas Helland Lillebø is a Norwegian citizen. He started in Cambi in 2014 and currently holds the position as COO with responsibility for sales, technology, and operations. In Cambi, he has worked with project commissioning, technical troubleshooting, improvements to existing plants and product development. In parallel, sales of upgrades and new projects have been a key activity.
He is the main author of two pending patents. One of them claims a method for energy consumption reduction by 30% for Cambi’s THP systems.
Mr. Helland Lillebø holds a MSc and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), on conversion of biomass into liquid fuels and chemicals via the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis method. His PhD included both experimental and theoretical work which was carried out at NTNU and at Stanford University, California, USA.
Maarten Kanters is a Dutch citizen. He joined Cambi in 2017, and currently holds the position as Managing Director for the Cambi Invest segment.
Prior to Cambi, he worked in various roles at McKinsey & Company, as well as at Yara.
He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.
Lluis Soler is a Spanish citizen. He is the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Operations in Cambi. Mr. Soler has been in Cambi for over 14 years, holding positions as Project Manager and VP Projects and coordinating the delivery of Cambi's installations to clients on all continents.
Mr. Soler has more than 20 years of experience from the water industry and has previously worked for Degremont (now SUEZ). His key area of expertise is the design, installation and commissioning of technologies as wastewater treatment plants.
Mr. Soler holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering with specialisation in Chemistry from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain.
Hans Rasmus Holte is a Norwegian citizen. He is Cambi's Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and has been with the company for more than 25 years.
During his career in Cambi, he has been involved in R&D, process modelling, design, troubleshooting, product management and standardisation, as well as project management with sludge and municipal organic waste.
Mr. Holte has brought ideas and theories through development, testing and demonstration, to full scale industrial plants. He holds several patents in Cambi's portfolio.
He has a degree equivalent to MSc in Forestry from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (1993), where he started his career as a research officer.
Lars-Petter Traa is a Norwegian citizen and the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Technology & Engineering in Cambi. During his tenure, he has been Project Manager for several contract execution and R&D projects.
Currently, Mr. Traa is responsible for the execution of Engineering, R&D, Product Development, Product Management and Technical Sales work, heading a group of highly skilled engineers.
Mr. Traa has more than 15 years of experience in the process industry. Earlier in his career, he was REC's Process Manager and part of the Management team at one of their solar wafer plants. In DNVGL, he was consultant for onshore gas processing plants, including technical risk management for LNG plants.
Mr. Traa holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with specialisation in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.
Paul Walley is a British citizen. He has more than 20 years of experience in Cambi, and manages the UK entity that manufactures products for the group.
Educated in Mechanical, Electrical and Control system disciplines, Mr. Walley was originally schooled by the Ministry of Defence and British Aerospace as an R&D manager developing tanks, fighter planes and small arms munitions from conception through to production.
He has more than 28 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, developing products and executing projects of varying magnitude.
Tord Finstad is a Norwegian citizen and the Head of Services in Cambi, where he works since 2010. He has more than 20 years of experience from various positions within oil and gas, waste renewables, aluminium production and wastewater industries.
Mr Finstad holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.
