
Eirik Fadnes was appointed CEO of Cambi ASA in 2022, having been Cambi Group's CEO since 2020. Mr. Fadnes has vast management experience, having held executive positions in Singapore, Norway, and Argentina. He has worked at KOP Surface Products, industrial investment company Aker ASA, and multinational auditing firm Ernst & Young.
Mr. Fadnes holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and an MSc in Auditing and Accounting from BI Norwegian Business School.
Andreas Helland Lillebø started in Cambi in 2014 and currently holds responsibility for sales, technology, and operations. He has worked with project commissioning, technical troubleshooting, improvements to existing plants, and product development within the company.
He is the principal author of two pending patents, one of which presents a method for reducing energy consumption by 30% using Cambi's thermal hydrolysis process systems.
Mr. Helland Lillebø holds an MSc and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) on the conversion of biomass into liquid fuels and chemicals via the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis method. His PhD included experimental and theoretical work conducted at NTNU and Stanford University in the United States.
Maarten Kanters leads Cambi’s investment activities, focusing on developing projects where Cambi assumes ownership and operational interests (Design-Build-Finance-Operate projects/Public-Private Partnerships), as well as investing in companies connected to the thermal hydrolysis process technology. An example is daughter company Grønn Vekst AS, the Norwegian market leader for biosolids recycling and soil production.
Maarten joined Cambi in 2017 as VP for Corporate Business Development and has been responsible for project development, Cambi Services, and other strategic initiatives.
Earlier in his career, he had various strategic and project management roles at McKinsey & Company and Yara. Mr. Kanters holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.
Lluis Soler has been in Cambi for over 15 years, holding positions as Project Manager and Vice-President for Projects prior to assuming his current role in 2017. He has coordinated the delivery of Cambi's installations to clients on all continents.
Mr. Soler has more than 24 years of experience in the water industry and has previously worked for Degremont (now SUEZ). His key area of expertise is project management for the design, installation, and commissioning of technologies at wastewater treatment plants.
He holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering with a specialisation in Chemistry from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain.
Hans Rasmus Holte has been with the company for more than 25 years and holds several patents in Cambi's portfolio. His past contributions and pending patents are crucial in maintaining Cambi’s position in advancing the circular economy and a carbon-neutral future.
Mr. Holte has been pivotal in the development of the thermal hydrolysis process technology and its full-scale applications at wastewater treatment plants. He has been involved in research and development; process modelling, design, and troubleshooting; product management and standardisation; and project management and project development both within the municipal and industrial sector. He has broad experience with biosolids, biowaste, waste processing systems, and biofuel utilisation.
He has a degree equivalent to an MSc in Forestry from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (1993), where he started his career as a research officer.
Lars-Petter Traa manages engineering, research and development, product development, and product management, heading a group of highly skilled engineers and researchers. He previously held project management roles for several contracts and R&D projects.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Traa was a Process Manager for REC and a member of the management team at one of their solar wafer plants. In DNV GL, he was a consultant for onshore gas processing plants, including technical risk management for liquefied natural gas plants.
He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim
Paul Walley manages the UK entity that manufactures products and systems for Cambi Group. He has over 30 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, with more than 20 of them in Cambi.
Educated in mechanical, electrical, and control system disciplines, Mr. Walley was originally schooled by the Ministry of Defence and British Aerospace as an R&D manager developing tanks, fighter planes, and small arms munitions from conception through to production.
Tord Finstad has had more than 24 years of experience in various positions within the oil and gas, waste renewables, aluminium production, and wastewater industries.
He has been with Cambi since 2010 and now heads the Services segment, monitoring and improving Cambi’s increasing installed base of plants. Under his leadership, the Services team drives the global sales of upgrade projects, spare parts, consulting, O&M site services and remote support, and other ancillary equipment.
Mr. Finstad holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.
Davy Ringoot became Sales Director for Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa for Cambi in 2018. He has a well-rounded career within Cambi, having been the head of the project development and process engineering departments in previous years.
Before joining Cambi in 2009, he was the Chief Technological Officer (CTO) at a listed renewable energy company.
Davy has over 25 years of experience in the wastewater treatment and renewable energy industry and holds an Environmental Engineering degree from Ghent University in Belgium.
Paul Christy has represented Cambi since 2000 in North America. He is currently General Manager and Director of Sales in the United States.
Paul was instrumental in establishing a powerful foothold in the United States, where Cambi is the leading supplier of thermal hydrolysis systems for wastewater treatment plants.
Paul holds a degree in Accounting and is based in Pennsylvania in the United States.
Julien Chauzy was appointed Sales Director for Asia and the Pacific in 2020 and is the concurrent head of Project Development for Cambi.
He started with the company in 2015 after 17 years with Veolia Water, where he worked as an expert in sludge-biosolids treatment for over ten years. Before this, he worked for Veolia in project management and engineering research roles.
Julien graduated with an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Limoges, specializing in Water and Waste Treatment and the Environment.
Harald Kleiven became Sales Director for Emerging Markets in 2018, covering India, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America. He joined Cambi in 2004 and was the Vice-President for Business Development before his current sales role.
Before Cambi, he headed business development for Organic Power AS, a waste-to-energy startup.
Harald graduated from the London School of Economics with a Master of Science degree in Economics. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Marketing from the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon in the United States.
