Drammen - Lindum

Drammen is the result of Lindum's commitment to treat sludge from the region in a sustainable manner, producing energy and recovering nutrients from sewage sludge. By installing Cambi's thermal hydrolysis process, biogas production increased. The digested sludge containing both food and organic material is dewatered into high-class pasteurised fertiliser for direct application in agricultural lands. The plant was completed in the spring of 2012 and has since been operating every day, 24 hours a day.
