The Central Regional Wastewater System (CRWS) under the Trinity River Authority in Texas is part of the utility's multi-phased biosolids management plan. The facility will be upgraded to advanced anaerobic digestion with thermal hydrolysis as pretreatment, for which Cambi is the selected supplier.

The Cambi system is expected to help CRWS achieve higher digester loading capacity and Class A biosolids. The unit is scheduled for commissioning in 2021.
