Solution: CambiTHP - B2

Pontiac - Clinton River

Formerly known as the Pontiac Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Clinton River Water Resource Recovery Facility is the second plant in the United States to use Cambi's compact and modular B2 system. It is managed and operated by the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (WRC).

The plant's former solids handling method for biosolids involved incineration, but the facility and equipment for thermal processing was later decommissioned due to expensive upkeep and new air quality laws. A modernisation project was then approved in 2015, which eventually involved a Cambi unit installation later in 2019.
